SHIP CHANDLERS

The boys have gone round to the Ship Chandlers shop in the high street to see whether they would be willing to stock their Sailors' Navigation Socks, SOX4C-DOGS.
What with Uckfield being 20 miles from the sea – and with only a small, unnavigable stream to its name – I'm quite surprised to find it has a Ship Chandlers at all, but if the town can support a shop selling ant products to anteaters, very little actually shocks me any more…
With any luck, Wilson will be able to find enough red and green socks from among his unsold stock of Oddsies®™ to avoid having to buy any new socks!
