Falling Picture

Today Boy wanted to go to the park as the weather was actually looking ok. He also wanted to go in the car, and as we have been caught out in the cold a fair bit of recent I thought it was a decent idea.

Not long after getting in the car I noticed I had sticky hands but could not work out how.

Once at the park we had a swing, slide, climb and aerial slide before a wander round the rose garden to play "Trip, Trap, Trip, Trap, Who's that walking on my bridge" before heading to the beach. I found the source of the stickyness. It was a from a right leg covered in jam. He seemed quite pleased with the spread he had put on his trousers to be honest. I wiped then as best as possible, which removed the seeds but then just looked like he had had a bad injury. Thankfully no-one in the play park seemed to be bothered though.

I don't think we have been to the beach this year so it was nice to get there. The Boy threw stones and I showed him lots of dead crabs that were littering the tide marks. We then embarked on taking some pictures. He did well too, until he fell back, off the changing bag, as I took his picture of him taking pictures of me.

We then had some more fun and checked out if there has been any progress on the pier. They are doing some work in it but I do not hold out much hope really, but fingers crossed. The boy demand to be carried most of the time so my back is tired out, but we had fun, even with a sticky, jammy leg.
