Lytham Parkrun at the start

I didn't and couldn't have taken this photo -  I'm somewhere near the back, so as not to get trodden on. Although it looks a bit cramped, people don't assemble until the very last minute and the group soon thins out. Lots of rules about no spitting, no high fiving and no hanging around at the finish.

My time was a whole 5 mins slower than my fastest 5k park run. Not to worry. Now that the events are back on, I will no doubt be speeding up in order to improve on my personal time.

I love the park runs and have really missed them.
