We joined the local walking group today to do the Clunie Walk , a favourite of ours which takes you up into the moors opposite Pitlochry and along an old Pictish road at one point.
Since we were there last (over a year ago) a small path off the main path to a viewpoint on one of the craggy tops has been created which we duly followed and were rewarded with great views of the town.
We saw a good few Scotch Argus butterflies and one Speckled Wood.
As before it was nice walking and chatting with other people - we were seven in total plus one dog.
Now to get ready for some special guests tomorrow.
