Project 365 day 225: Giant Bindweed

I can't help liking these spectacularly large, gleaming white flowers, although they are a terrible nuisance in the garden, rampaging through the hedge and twining their suffocating tentacles around my anemones, raspberries and much more. They are the size of small teacups, and I really need to do something more drastic than photographing them.

It was a busy day, taking J to a hospital appointment in the morning, then rushing back for her to run her Friday afternoon watch party of film clips and trailers for the film group at her care centre. The theme was fairy tales in film, and a huge variety of clips were shared: traditional Disney versions, newer live action versions, retellings with a dark twist, or films which combine elements from many fairy tales. It went well; she spends a lot of time trying to select good clips and trailers, which is something she can do independently.
