Nice day at home and at the allotment

This morning I grappled with the NHS app - I will need it to prove I’ve had both vaccinations when I go to the Bristol Hippodrome in October. Eventually I succeeded. 
I also had a quick word with my son, who lives in Plymouth. Although they are nowhere near the area where the murders took place, I think they are pretty subdued and shocked. Why on earth was that man allowed a pump action shotgun - what possible reason? The whole city seems to be in mourning. 
My blips today are of a nice mix of tomatoes and lavender - suddenly all the tomatoes are ripening. And the extra is of a new salvia which I got from the garden centre recently.  I’m really pleased with it. 
Also I listened to Test Match Special on earphones this afternoon while working at the allotment. Root batted well, it was exciting. Proper sunny summer Saturday.
