Non climbing clematis

Bought this some years ago on a visit to Wollerton Old Hall and Gardens. The gardens were stunning and I remember it was a blistering hot day. Filling one corner of a border were these gorgeous blue flowers on stems of study bushes. Very tall without any support. This was when I discovered non-climbing clematis. Needless to say after discovering it was available to buy at their plant sales, a gorgeous specimen came home with us. The flowers are amazing and the most lovely blue.
