He's home

After a couple of days in the animal hospital we picked James up and brought him back home this afternoon.

Louisa took him in on Wednesday morning because he still wasn't eating. They hooked him up to an iv to get some fluids into him, did some bloods and a CT scan to try and work out what's going on. The bloods came back OK, potassium a bit off because of the dehydration, and the CT scan showed some bile duct inflammation, but nothing more sinister thankfully.
We got a phone call this morning to say that although he'd still not eaten, he was definitely brighter and they were happy for him to come home thinking that it was probably the strange environment putting him off.

After a lot of fussing, an array of 'gourmet' foods, and looking sorry for himself he did eventually start eating again at home!
