Are we nearly there yet?

A sunny, warm day

My friend and I went for a 4.5 mile walk from Auchmithie along the Arbroath Cliffs to Arbroath. On the way, we saw this garden shed with this colourful artwork. This photo took priority over photos of the cliffs, since I have posted several in the past.

This was the longest walk I have done so far this year. Last August, I did a 10 mile walk, and I am hoping I might get back up to this in the next month or so.

My wife had dropped us off at our start point and then drove round to our finish point, then walked along the cliff path to meet us.

Afterwards I watched a recording of Man United’s first match of the new season. It was a thrilling display which was rounded off with an excellent Chinese meal, cooked by our friend, who had taught in China for many years.
