Bindweed

It is a pity that Great Bindweed is so reviled by gardeners as it has an attractive flower, a pure white variety of Morning Glory but is so invasive that if left it will take over completely.
This particular bloom is flourishing behind the 'spare' shed under and throughout the greengage tree and thus out of sight, noticed as I was pulling up its cousins further along the fence.
