Derwentwater from Grange crags

Just above the village of Grange is a modest fell - Grange crags, which offers a great view down to Grange, and also a splendid view along the length of Derwentwater to Keswick & Skiddaw.

We walked up there through the morning - arriving in time for lunch, and the two minutes of sunshine we were blessed with through the day. A 0.6 Hard-edged grad filter controlled the brightness of the snowy tops and the sky against the darker tones of the ground.
