Washing and shadows

After games with Adam and Tomoko this morning, and after a quick snooze after lunch, I spent the afternoon raking over the remains of the ants nests in the lawn, then cutting the grass front and back, and applying ant powder to the remaining ants nests. They keep popping up everywhere and I suspect that under my lawn is just one big ants nest.

I think Farnborough Air Show must have been on today because we had the Red Arrows over the house a couple of times plus we could here a lot of rumblings of aircraft noise just out of sight. The baby pigeons didn’t much like the fly-past - there was quite a kerfuffle where they were sitting in the tree when the planes went over!
