Selfie time

Last night I went to housewarming/summer party at Chirk.  It was a friend that was a band mate for many years before that was a fellow dancer and musician of the morris dancing side.

It was strange being amongst lots of people after such a long time but it was also great to catch up with lots of my folkie friends that I hadn't seen for ages.

Their house dates from the 1600s and has lots of beautiful  wooden beams and an amazing attic.  It even has a large colony of bats living in the roof and we watched them fly out as it got dusk.  It was a really enjoyable evening.
