A meander with my camera
Less a meander more a known 5km return walk to Moortown Corner to pick up something for our tea. The weather is fine and the temperature kind for walking. On my return to Chapel A I enjoyed seeing lots of people attending to their allotment plots. By the looks of things the seated elder has his family round to help him pick fruits and lend a hand (main).
The extra is of willow tree junction at Harrogate Road (A61) and Stainbeck Lane, the paving and stonework is ongoing hence fencing and traffic cones. The building on the extreme right was the Yorkshire Bank with a fine banking hall and entrance, now a cavernous branch of Starbuck's. If you are in need of a haircut and/or a cup of Coffee Chapel A. offers plenty of both plus, of course, a good variety of eateries too.
