Dorset wanderings

Berthed in Portland this morning and had a lovely tour round Dorset which included visiting Lulworth Cove and Corfe Castle.

I had forgotten how pretty Dorset is, with all its pretty thatched cottages and of course, it’s the home to Thomas Hardy, who penned ‘Tess of the D’Urbervilles’, ‘The Mayor of Casterbridge’, ‘Far from the Madding Crowd’ ‘Jude the Obscure’ etc.

Now back on the ship relaxing.
