…new windlass! Although unfortunately it can’t be bolted to the deck yet as one of the bolts included in the package is the shape of a dog’s hind leg. Phone calls and photos will be sent off to the vendor tomorrow!

We’re on the boat for pizza and Prosecco this evening. Well, beer/red wine for everyone except me, the Prosecco princess. I have found a very reasonable (£6.35) Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc in Lidl, which we will taste-test too. I’ll report back!

It’s very windy and the familiar chinking and slapping of rigging is our musical accompaniment at the moment. What more could we ask?
