Devon and Dorset day 1

Today we travelled to Devon for our holiday. We should have been flying to Rhodes but you can't have everything, can you?! We decided to stop at Bristol on the way as I'd only ever really just passed through before. I really enjoyed walking around the docks area as it had a lovely vibe. We were going to watch the balloon fiesta but needed to leave at 3 in the morning and we were both too tired to do that. Getting up at 5.30 to finish my jobs and get on the road was hard enough. We visited the cathedral to see the 'moon' and have lunch (thanks RobBris50) and walked from the bottom end by the Banksy up to the top, crossed the bridge and then back on the other side. It was really enjoyable.
We arrived at the hotel just before 5 and had a lovely meal in the restaurant.
