Just kept missing

I had a lovely walk down the canal this morning. I haven't been on a Sunday morning for a few weeks. Set off just after 8. I spotted the heron on the side of the canal and as I kept getting a bit closer to him he flew off! I could hear noises in the woods but saw nothing. I spotted things falling from a tree and spotted a squirrel hanging in the tree (bottom right) what a rubbish shot!. I walked to the lock today and on my way back I spotted a couple taking a photo of something. Meanwhile along came a cyclist ringing his bell so the deer they had been watching ran off! I just kept missing things but I really enjoyed it. I did go to church then came home and have had a lovely lazy day.
