Water Warper

He was washing his hands in the river having slashed the nettles and pulled up some Himalayan balsam along the river path, to ease progress.  It looks like he's some sort of water guru.  My dad used to insist that water divining worked. D dug a lot of holes around the farm during that period, looking for (non-existent) drains.

It was a grim sort of weather day, but turns out swimming in the rain is pretty pleasant. The river felt quite warm.

Later we went over to see visiting family -  shoes, shoes and more shoes (extra)
