Holding hands

We have had a fabulous weekend with friends up north. The journey up was a bit of a nightmare but once there we stayed with a beautiful family. A was at school with Mr D and then me and was our best man ( 32 years in September!) He married his second wife who is truly wonderful and had the twins when the rest of us had grown up kids. But the Sophie and Jamie are just adorable and this was me and them discussing the trees and how tall they were! Jamie wanted to hold my hand which was magical, I haven't had a little hand hold mine for many years! Makes me really excited about my granddaughter getting bigger. ( she has started to crawl woo hoo!) Percy coped brilliantly, especially as it was really his first real time spent with little people in a strange home!
