Looks Good To Me

Fire and Ice

It's never too cold for ice cream, if it's Mallard Ice Cream, but this person seemed to think it needed to be warmed in front of the gas fire. Perhaps he was just another blipper looking for something unusual -- unaware that he was providing me with a blip.

We decided to have an early dinner at Boundary Bay after yoga. I had a lamb burger with a pint of Cabin Fever, and Cynthia had a cup of salmon chowder with a Gorgonzola, apple, and hazelnut salad. Nothing new, but, as always, delicious.

After dinner we walked up Railroad Avenue to stock up on ice cream (four pints) and Man Pies (six) for the freezer. There was a brisk cold wind blowing, and we didn't feel like eating ice cream in the store, but we succumbed to temptation when we got home. The one we tried had crumbled oatmeal raisin cookies in it -- the raisins had been soaked in Honey Moon mead. Very tasty.
