Upton House, Warwickshire … weekend country retreat for the heirs of the Shell Oil company, now in the hands of the National Trust. Lovely to stroll around the pond & gardens. 

There is an amazing art collection in a former squash court … El Greco, Gainsborough, Tintoretto, Stubbs, Bruegel and Raeburn to name a few. And some really helpful volunteers to tell stories about the place. Great.
