Not much opportunity to take photos today as I was busy preparing for when the children return to school for the new academic year next week. Due to the pandemic, our INSET schedule is different this year. We usually have five days in school to prepare. This year the first two days of preparation is being done online. There will be Zoom meetings tomorrow and then all staff will go into school on Wednesday. 

A few days ago I mentioned that I had an idea for a Blip series; the most three-dimensional male and female characters in S.F. films or T.V. So here is the first of the five female characters; Sarah J. Connor from The Terminator. What an incredible developmental arc she progresses through; from a gentle, frightened victim in The Terminator, to a tough, cynical, battle-hardened warrior in Judgement Day, to a soldier tempered with maternal feelings in Dark Fate. Linda Hamilton brings this fascinating character to life and imbues her with incredible depth. 

She looks like Trouble.
