Out on the rocks
Back at Fidelis for a couple of days, before heading back. Hoping that the tiler will be working in the small bathroom this week.
Late afternoon I was able to have a jog on Southend and Fidelis. Being careful of mud. Actually I stayed very much on firm sand or rocks. My attention was drawn to a pair of Masked Lapwings far out from the shore, in shallow water by a long oyster shell covered reef. By the pitch of the call, even though the tone was not the frantic alarm call, I knew which bird was making it. When I realised what was happening I had already taken the photo, which is today's blip.
