Today is a very exciting day for Wilson!
I hope it will help take his mind off the lukewarm reception his latest invention received at the Ship Chandlers shop yesterday.
He has been chosen to be a Guest Presenter on ANTEATER NEWS!
This is a 'rolling news' cable-only channel, so it's possible you've never heard of it, but a lot of Zoos subscribe to it so their animals can keep abreast of the less scary world events.
Obviously wars are never mentioned, nor the shortage of Veterinarians and food caused by Brexit, but each bulletin ends with a cute 'and finally' spot.
Wilson wound up his bulletin with a smile, saying 'And finally – news of an extremely cute Tamadua Pup born in a rescue centre not far from here – hmm, looks nearly as cute as I did at that age!' before shuffling his papers and saying, 'Anteater News will be back on the hour, the weather is up next. Good night from me, Wilson Vermilingua!'…
