Although my art class has finished, our tutor floats us out some random fun challenges.

She asked us to recreate an image with an existential message but using 2 edible items in the creation/recreation of any piece of art.

I chose CS’s ‘Balance’ which shows man walking the tightrope of life balancing his heart over his mind. Take a look at the original. I used a beetroot for the heart and the blue cloudy background is from a container of blue candy floss bought in the Tiger shop . Pink hydrangea cut from my garden is the brain. I put glassy decorations to sparkle the sky and as an added dimension sprinkled miniature dice in the sky. Because I personally believe that life is sometimes a roll of the dice. You just have to be in the right place at the right time, folks.
