went out for a lovely meal in troon tonight, I had mussels followed by langoustines, I'm a big fan of seafood. it was my father in law's 64th birthday, officially a pensioner though he's been retired for a while now. en-route home, I had to stop to blip the reeds that I spotted last thursday whilst I was on my way to a game of badminton. my wife and in-laws seemed quite amused that I HAD to stop and get my blip.

don't know what kind of reeds these are, they're pretty close to the sea and have this wonderful cotton like head that blows about in the breeze, pretty windy today as you can see, this head is about to take flight.
