I was working in Stromness today, so had the fun of spotting some of the scarecrows still out in gardens following Shopping Week, last week.
There was a lot going on in this garden, and I only noticed the chalk board message after I got home. It reads:

'Identifying someone by his or her outward appearance is often the first and most common error in the world.'
