Heirlooms

When we were at Lauralea’s folks place this summer, her mom presented us with this photo of her dad and his sister when they were young. It’s quite a lovely gift as there are not many pictures of him as a child. 

I guess we are at that place now where heirlooms are being passed on, to continue down the family line. I’m not sure how I feel about that except now the time is here, and it seems sudden. But it isn’t. 

We’ll take it for a while and hold it until the next generation may be interested in it.
