Spring but not sprung

I think I posted one of these little Japanese dolls before in winter. Well here is her Spring companion, complete with cherry blossom. I imagine lots of happy Japanese people strolling beneath the beautiful pink trees at the moment.

I wish I was there. My life this week has mainly consisted of dealing with idiots on all sides - work, builders, banks etc etc. Plus despite the fact it is officially Spring the forecast for the weekend is bitter wind, rain and possibly snow. And George Osborne has delivered another budget sticking resolutely to the wrong plan.

I am almost looking forward to going on another long run at the weekend just to get a couple of hours of peace and quiet!
