Fresh Snow

Today we went to Lake Rotoiti looking for snow. We could feel the temperate drop and yes it was snowing on the mountains but raining on us.  We went with our neighbours Andrew and Beverly. A warming lunch was had at the lodge and we watched the rain through the window.  Before we left the cloud lifted a little and I got this picture at the lake.  
There is a community case of Covid in Auckland our biggest city.  The whole country will be waiting to see what this means for us.  Our vaccination rate is only about 20 percent so some form of lockdown is likely.
