After the Rain…a national Lockdown…

We had rain early this morning after a very windy night. I took a quick drive to the Taylor Dam this evening. Here is the view from the rise in the road at the Dam. The dark blue toned mountains in the far distance are part of the Richmond Range. Earlier today I had a very busy time catching up with shopping and other tasks. Just as well ….because the whole country is going into Level Four Lockdown at 11.59pm tonight. This is because a case of Covid-19 has arisen in the community in Auckland. It is likely to be of the “Delta” variety and highly contagious. So we are “going hard and going early” to try our best to forestall a serious outbreak. Take care and stay safe my friends
