Day 5 Last Day.

Last day of our course.
Working on our pieces adding more stitches and more of our dyed fabric.
We also worked on some little books using some of our dyed fabrics.
Useful to have these books as they act as an aide memoire of the dyes we used.
My extra shows some of the results I acheived using the different dyes and techniques. The yellow colour was acheived using rhubarb/ buddleia mixed dye and the pinky mix was the result I got from the onion skins and oak leaves. The fabric, in both cases, is silk which really took any dye well.
The other extras are details from my main piece. Still lots to do and this will be an ongoing project.
What a great course thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
