Ripening

This morning I went to F's.  His daughter had given him some giant courgettes so I turned them into soup.  We each had a bowl and there is now some in his freezer to sustain him while he's doing his building work.

I then drove over to Chirk for the afternoon.  I'd been asked to go and join the musicians playing for a French dancing group.  It was good fun but challenging as I don't normally play French music and the rhythms are very different to the ceilidh dancing that I usually play for.  It was great to widen my musical horizons though!

I was so busy concentrating that I forgot to take a photo for my blip so you have some of the tomatoes in my garden which are in various stages of ripeness.
