Garden odds and ends

A very strange day. All the usual return home jobs to be done ie lots of washing, but despite the sunshine every time I went out there was dampness in the air so I couldn’t put the washing out.

Our sweet peas have been poor this year, this is only the second cutting and they are all dark purple. On the drive we’re some Japanese anemones on the ground so I picked a few of those to add to them. They look pretty in my Bristol Blue glass vase.

Back in Bath Jude has had a two hour taster session at nursery and it’s gone down well and John took Eda to the cinema for the first time to see Spirit Untamed. She’s hooked on horses!
