Knock knock

I've been saying that I'm going to sort out the back garden for ages. I needed to take down a redundant chicken pen and get the area ready for the planting of a new 'wild garden'. So I said to myself, any blipping would have to be done after the work was complete. But I took my my camera with me, just incase.

Then no sooner had I started work than I heard the drilling of a woodpecker. His chosen tree is just riddled with holes. It must have been home for woodpeckers for years. In fact it's beginning to look quite precarious. I;m not sure it will survive much longer.
