For the third time, plans for an outing went to pot. Instead a frantic morning of endless phone calls, to and from the hospital, and to and from Singapore, all due to the sudden, and unexpected, announcement of a date for mum’s operation, in 7 days time! Thankfully the surgeon’s secretary was very understanding, and by lunchtime had managed to postpone the op until October, which gives time for necessary plans to be made.

So today the tiniest of Hoverflies, on a gloomy day, with the odd sunny spell and 18 degrees.
