The Grassmarket
Fountainbridge Library is being used as a Covid 19 asymptomatic testing centre at the moment so I elected to collect my book from the Central library on George IV Bridge. This is only my second visit to a library since last March and it's the first book I've reserved since Covid. It was a beautiful sunny day so I took a leisurely walk there via the Grassmarket which was chockers with people enjoying lunch outside and taking in the sights. I had the library to myself - well, me and three librarians were all that was in evidence. Looking forward to getting stuck into Beneath the Bleeding by Val McDermid. It's the fifth book in the Tony Hills and Carol Jordan series. It's going to be a scary one!
