Father and daughter together
Just so that you can all see him, and see that he is well, Jon reluctantly posed with Mollie for my blip. Mollie has been away for the week, and got home late last night, so stayed at her friend's. Jon and I spent our evening in the A & E department of the N & N last night, arriving feeling concerned and worried. After 7 hours, he was seen by nurse, then the stroke nurse, and eventually the Dr. We got home and to bed at 5am this morning. He will go back tomorrow or Thursday for an appointment with the specialist, when they get back in touch.
So today. Well I got up at 9.30 after 4 hours sleep
and muddled my way through my working day, most of it as a team of 1. Sadly, another team member is now going to be off sick for a while, so the team leader is going to have a challenge when he returns from his holiday next week. I hope he does return! If he reads this, he might not!! We did have welcome offer of help from one member of the other team. Ironically it is the busiest people who offer help, and we were very grateful. I finished at 6.30. Jon was very much back to feeling normal, but frustrated that the tia nurse who rang, said he mustn't drive until they have seen him. He cooked lentil curry for dinner and we are going to go to bed at 9.
Life has its challenges doesn't it? Thanks to everyone for their kind words of concern for Jon. Will keep you updated.
