Mini Figs

Caffè Royale, which was a coffee with figs in a cinnamon and white wine spiced syrup with mascarpone, was my favourite dessert at Pizza Express - so quite pleased that the extreme heat of the last days has basically suddenly ripened and dried loads of our figs while still tiny. I'll be having a go at recreating the dish.

Gratefuls, thinking of Afghanistan (with great sadness):
