Last light

My eldest son was due to come home from Europe today but ended up being delayed due to an issue with Covid testing (you’d think he’d know by now you need to have done one to board a plane!). Anyway, we’d planned the day around going to Edinburgh to get him so just continued our day out anyway!

I dropped the other 2 kids at the big new shopping centre as they wanted to check out the stores while I went to meet my 2 london pals who come up every year for the Festival. Turns out we’ve met on the same day for almost 7 years! Had a lovely lunch together, then collected kids with purchases and headed back home.

Back home it was G & T time as the sun set - here’s a blip from beside the river. A nice end to a fun day, son will arrive home tomorrow :)
