Spring colours 3 - lunch on the beach

Work to renovate the sea front at Le Grau d'Agde is still going on and public access to the beach won't be allowed till mid-April. This workman was taking his lunch onto the beach - not a bad place to work, then! The sight of enormous lorries speeding along the sands, carrying huge rocks to make breakwaters, was a bit strange but I suppose everything will soon be back to normal ready for the summer season. Today I was glad to take a break from my work and eat carpaccio de boeuf, with parmesan, olive oil and salad, by the sea in warm sunshine outside one of our favourite cafés. Back to work now for the evening to make up lost time.

In the distance, you can just see the Pyrenees with snow on them, but it was a bit hazy in that direction.
