Whirly

This was the first day for a long time that I put out washing with any degree of confidence that it would dry. For the picture I got right down on a gardening mat - the patio slabs were still very cold after snow and frost! So I was looking up at the blue sky and catching the sun rays through the shirts. I liked the flare which gives a feeling of airiness, and the way the sun highlights the plastic lines of the rotary dryer. Maybe not altogether a normal photographic subject, but it gladdens the heart to be able to dry things naturally and not be adding to the electricity bill!
