Hydrant

I drove to the UPS Store to ship a gift to a friend. I'm sending him a glass stein from Cedar Point. On the way, a lane of the street was closed because the gas people were digging a hole. There also was some water in the road, and a fire hydrant down the street was spilling water into the road.

I came home after running my errand. I grabbed my camera and walked down the street for this photo.

It's been more rainy than usual. Some of the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred are expected to hit tomorrow. Annoying. I wanted to ride my bike. I haven't in over a month. Today and tomorrow are my last Tuesday and Wednesday days off before my new job, which has weekends off. That should be nice, though I was rather used to going places with smaller crowds.
