An Gorta Mór - Tower of Silence

A new sculpture,  just unveiled at the end of last month.  A memorial to the Irish Famine.  Designed by John McCarron and called the Tower of Silence.

On the base is a verse from the Famine Year poem by Jane Wilde, mother of Oscar.
