Scary sun

This was taken at about 8:00 this morning. Not as bad as last year’s total blackout — but considering that the wildfire is hundreds of miles to the north and east of us, this is a very smoke-filled sky. We can’t yet smell it down on the ground, but I have started monitoring Berkeley’s air quality, which is currently at about 50 — “moderate,” neither good nor bad.
