Walking along the river #2500

We heard the river did get up over the road in low places but when we took a walk down the hill to the road we did not find any areas that had been flooded. However, we did not go very far as the river road is a mile down the hill and we knew we would have to walk back up. But we did walk a little ways along the road to catch the sun coming up above the mountains and trees.

There is something special about morning mist on a river. Kind of like church.


The water was really roaring and we saw very few rocks that usually stick up out of the water here. It may continue to rise as the creeks and runoff makes its way down hill. In this photo you can see the growth that is normally at the edge of the water is covered.
