Blue skies !

It has been a(n unexpectedly) lovely day here today.

This morning we headed over to Killiekrankie to do the Craig Fonvuick loop.. It is by no mean the highest hill in these parts but it does offer wonderful views of the surrounding hills.  The heather was also in full bloom. 

Although it is favourite of ours it has been nearly a year  since we last did it when we shared it with our recent visitors HazelH & MrHazelH, a visit that was somewhat less eventful than their visit last weekend. I am pleased that they are both now safely home. 

This afternoon I mainly sat outside and read.
