Art immersion
Tate Britain this morning, most rooms I had all to myself. Surprised to come across Winifred Nicholson’s Sandpipers over Alnmouth, with real sand adding some subtle texture. Crossed the river and walked along the Embankment and through Westminster to Tate Modern. Much busier with some interactive stuff going on in the blip. I opted for the A Year in Art: Australia 1992, the Mabo Decision which recognised that the indigenous peoples have land rights.
Leisurely urban walk back along the Thames, with its sandy beach (extra) across the Millennium Bridge and into Marylebone.
Continued with the Greek theme for supper with an excellent souvlaki from the local takeaway. Lots of fresh dill in the Tzatziki.
