Bishop Auckland

 A bus trip, two buses in fact, here today to the opticians as I've needed new reading glasses for a while. A bizarre experience with a remote optometrist and a girl in the room working the machine! All very organised and no hanging around which was good and gave me lots of time to find a lovely café, vintage 1950's. First time I've been here and to be honest the café was the best bit! I have to go again on Friday to the hospital there for physio so I might try this other café in the photo, which also looked inviting. 
Home to yet more phone calls and ongoing problems. 
Tomorrow is another day and I'm meeting up with my matting friends for lunch to discuss restarting the group. That is certainly something to look forward to, both the lunch meeting and the restarting.
